I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!host Dec Donnelly jokingly called comedian Joel Dommett a "psychopath" in a light-hearted exchange on last night's spin off show. The hit show is back with a bang, bringing a fresh batch of celebrities to face the notorious Bushtucker Trials.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are once again at the helm, presenting the much-loved series from the depths of the Australian jungle. Meanwhile, on the ITV2 spin-off show, Joel Dommett alongside Sam Thompson and Kemi Rogers deliver the juicy gossip, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes action.

In a recent episode, Joel reminisced about some career advice Dec imparted during the National Television Awards, revealing: "You're going to go far in this business son- you're a psychopath". The comment sparked laughter before they swiftly moved on.

In a more sombre moment of the latest instalment, former boxing champion Barry McGuigan shared the heart-wrenching story of his daughter Danika's passing due to bowel cancer, confessing his diminished church attendance since the tragedy.

McGuigan dealt with the devastating loss of his daughter in 2019, mere weeks after she was diagnosed with an advanced stage of bowel cancer. Recounting the heart-wrenching tale, he said: "She had leukaemia, when I was making [The Boxer] with Daniel Day Lewis, three weeks from the end I had to leave because she'd been diagnosed with leukaemia, they thought she wasn't going to get better but she fought back and she won it. She had two years of chemo."

Overcome by emotion as he remembered his daughter, McGuigan couldn't hold back the tears, prompting a warm response from his fellow contestants, who consoled him with hugs, including stars Danny and N-Dubz's Tulisa.

'I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked' is the latest spin-off series for the hit reality show 'I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here', initially named Extra Camp which was discontinued in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This lead to the main show’s move from Australia to Wales. The good news for fans is that this fresh show has returned featuring a line-up of new hosts.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! airs every night at 9PM on ITV1 and ITV X. I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked will be on TV every night after the main show, from Monday to Sunday for three weeks.
