BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say the same thing over Shayne Ward's 'new look'

Strictly Come Dancing: Katya Jones and Wynne Evans go through

Actor Shayne Ward, who became the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing, left fans in awe with his new hair style on It Takes Two. The star sat alongside his professional partner Nancy Xu on Monday night with his curly locks swept back except for a single curl which rested on his forehead.

Viewers were taken aback by Shayne's fresh look, with many quickly taking to social media to voice their admiration. One fan wrote: "Shayne needs to keep his hair like that it suits him #ItTakesTwo#Strictly#StrictlyComeDancing."

Another person tweeted: "Shayne looks so good with this hairstyle #ItTakesTwo."

A third chimed in, commenting: "Shayne's hair looks a million times better the way it's styled tonight as opposed to the perm he normally has #StrictlyComeDancing#ItTakesTwo."

However, one viewer was less convinced about Shayne's new style as they joked:"Shayne I love you but I have a bad urge to just tuck that little piece of forehead hair away off your face."

Shayne and Nancy were the most recent pair to bid farewell to Strictly Come Dancing, having been defeated in the dance-off by Wynne Evans and his partner Kayta Jones.

The pair delivered their Couple's Choice rumba to Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time, while Wynne and Katya performed the American smooth to Mika's Grace Kelly, reports OK!.

However, when it came to deciding who should stay in the competition, the judges were split as Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse chose to save Shayne and Nancy.

Meanwhile, Anton Du Beke threw his support behind Wynne and Katya, which meant the final call was down to head judge Shirley Ballas. In the end, she opted to save Wynne and Katya, ending Shayne's time in the competition.

When grilled by Fleur East on the BBC Two sister show It Takes Two, a candid Shayne revealed that the sinking feeling hit him during Sunday night's show as soon as the red light signalled their fate, confessing he knew "this was it".

Furthermore, Shayne recounted the profound connection he felt with his dance partner, adding: "I always get lost in the moment with Nancy. Even though she's shouting all the moves to me, she's so graceful.

"What I loved about it was the song, and I loved the sentiment of the story that we were trying to tell. But more than anything, what stands out for me was the connection we had, not just through that song, but through the whole eight weeks we got to spend together."

During their time on It Takes Two, they were shown a compliation video of their time on the show together, which got Nancy extremely emotional.

Speaking about their exit, Nancy said: "This year, I've found all the contestants, between all of them, they have a really strong connection. Friendship and they supported each other week by week and day by day. So I can't describe the feeling but I was gutted."

The pair had landed in the dance-off three times throughout the duration of their time on the show, as they were saved against Dr Punam Krishan and Nick Knowles.

Sadly, they've missed out on the upcoming Blackpool week special, as BBC viewers learnt JB will be doing a Quickstep to Rick Astley's catchy hit Never Gonna Give You Up with his professional partner Lauren Oakley

It Takes Two continues weekdays on BBC Two from 6:30pm with Strictly Come Dancing continuing Saturday on BBC One from 6:45pm
