Ruth Langsford's brutal swipe at Eamonn Holmes as she 'plans divorce makeover'

Ruth Langsford is reportedly planning a "divorce makeover" following the end of her 14-year marriage to Eamonn Holmes, according to an insider.

The TV stars, who presented ITV daytime chat show This Morning together for 15 years before quitting the show in 2021, announced their split in May after tying the knot in 2010.

Following the split, Eamonn Holmes has found a new partner in relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 43, and made his debut public appearance with her this month at the Irish Post awards.

A source has now told Bella that Ruth, 64, has been left feeling emotional about her looks following the ordeal while aiming a cheeky dig at her former partner.

They said: "Ruth is ready for a divorce makeover. While her marriage was great for many years, she says nothing ages you faster than the stress of a separation, let alone going through it under the spotlight.

"She's aged gracefully, but the last year has left its mark. She's now feeling vulnerable about her age - something this industry doesn't help with either.

"She's told pals that Eamonn has put 15 years on her face and joked she needs an MOT to undo it all."

The Loose Women star is yet to address their split in her own words, however has made a series of cryptic comments. Ruth recently made a joke at Eamonn, while talking about hoarding.

Speaking on the ITV show, she said: "I'm throwing out a lot of stuff out at the minute!" prompting laughter from the audience.

The mum-of-one has been on a health and beauty kick following the split; revealing to her Instagram followers that she's been carefully watching her diet and taking healthy home made green juices to work.

A source close to Ruth told Bella that, following Eamonn and Katie's new relationship, the legendary presenter wants to get "revenge" by looking and feeling great.

They said: "Ruth is a natural beauty who's blossomed with age, finding confidence as she's grown older. But like every woman, there does come a time when what she sees in the mirror isn't a reflection of how she feels.

"Ruth is an incredible woman and totally deserves to feel and look a million dollars."
