ITV Britain's Got Talent's Stavros Flatley star unrecognisable 15 years after show
Lagi Demetriou, who shot to fame as one half of the hilarious father-son duo Stavros Flatley on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, is now unrecognisable after a dramatic transformation.
He and his father Demi won the hearts of the nation with their comical Greek-inspired Lord of the Dance routine, complete with leather trousers and blonde wigs, according to OK! magazine.
Despite their unforgettable audition, they didn't clinch the top spot, losing out to dance troupe Diversity. However, they made a triumphant return for the Champions series ten years later, once again reaching the final and coming second, as reported by the Mirror.
Since then, Lagi has stepped back from the spotlight, relocating to Cyprus where he runs a barber shop in Paphos and hosts a podcast called CoolerBox. Now a married father of two, he's happily settled in Cyprus, even sporting a large tattoo of the country across his stomach to match his dad's famous ink revealed during their first Britain's Got Talent audition.
The sweet 12-year-old we remember now sports a full dark beard and numerous other tattoos. His father has revived Stavros Flatley with his nephew Samson, but Lagi hasn't completely hung up his dancing shoes.

He shared: "When we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave. But Simon Cowell told me not to quit forever. So I will return for some shows."

Reflecting on his journey, he remarked: "We've done this for 10 years for a joke. We've done so many amazing things but what is there left to do? We've done the Royal Variety, we've played in China, Monaco – everywhere. So when we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave."
These days, Lagi's life revolves around his family. In a romantic gesture, he proposed to his girlfriend Annika Crawford on New Year's Eve in 2020 after being together for five years. The couple tied the knot in the summer of 2022. They celebrated the birth of their first child, Xenia, in March 2022 and welcomed another daughter, named Demetria Demetriou, the next year.

The name Demetria, echoing Lagi's father's name Demetrios, carries a legacy, harking back to Ancient Greek meaning 'devoted to goddess Demeter'. In July last year, Lagi took to Instagram and TikTok to announce the impending arrival of their second daughter, Demetria, sharing an endearing black-and-white snapshot of the newborn cradled by Xenia's hands.
He posted a video montage for his 27,000 followers, featuring clips from his stunning coastal wedding in September 2022 and edited footage of the couple with Xenia. The video ended with Annika proudly displaying her growing baby bump, confirming they are expecting their second child. The post was captioned: "Guess we do this all again, couldn't do it with anyone better."
In September, Lagi honoured his wife and family on the second anniversary of their wedding. "Happy 2 years anniversary baby girl thank you for everything and the two little lunatics you have given me," he expressed.
