Good Morning Britain's latest episode left viewers exasperated as tensions soared live on air.

On Friday's programme (November 8), presenters Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray were at the helm, bringing audiences the day's biggest headlines from around the nation and beyond. However, the studio atmosphere quickly became charged, prompting complaints from viewers who took to social media to voice their annoyance.

The show's temperature spiked during a heated debate regarding Donald Trump's ties with the UK, where guests Salma Shah and Caroline Flint couldn't refrain from talking over one another. The escalating volume in the studio proved too much for those watching at home, who promptly took to Twitter to express their dismay.

One individual remarked on Twitter: "Love how everyone is having a meltdown after Trump's election win."

Another opined that the debate was poorly managed and founded, suggesting it would have been better to adopt a 'wait and see' approach before shifting focus to more substantive issues, reports the Mirror.

A particular viewer noted the overlap of shouting guests, as another expressed their discontent with the noise level, stating: "Too loud for me this morning. 3 speaking and shouting all at once. Off it goes." A fellow spectator echoed this sentiment, pleading for order: "One at a time. Shut up!"

The clash erupted during a conversation about Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner's past remarks concerning Trump, whom she had labeled a "buffoon", leading to widespread consternation.

Discussing Rayner and Trump's rapport, Caroline remarked: "Yeah well I might of chosen different words myself to describe his approach to the pandemic because I thought he was wrong with many of his remarks during that time. But again a lot of this is about theatre. Again, he knows the special relationship is important."

However, the conversation took a sharp turn when presenter Charlotte and Salma interjected, halting Caroline mid-sentence. Salma countered: "I have to disagree with you there. I worked with the Trump administration when I was in the Home Office in 2017 - the first Trump administration and he does take things seriously!"

Amidst the heated exchange, Caroline persisted in voicing her opinion, leading to chaos on set.
