GMB chaos as Susanna Reid forced to step in as guest swears live on air
Good Morning Britain was thrown into disarray during the latest episode of the ITV breakfast show when host Susanna Reid had a heated exchange with Home Alone actor and Donald Trump supporter Rob Schneider.
Susanna and Ed Balls hosted a special edition of GMB from Washington D. C. as Trump faced off against Kamala Harris in the race for the US presidency.
However, the segment took an unexpected turn when Hollywood star Rob began his interview by alleging that Susanna and Ed had been discussing "misogyny off-camera". The hosts quickly dismissed his claim.
Susanna retorted: "Neither of us have uttered those words" and Ed attempted to steer the conversation back on track by asking Rob: "Tell us about Donald Trump becoming the President of the United States?", reports the Mirror.

I feel like we're on Saturday Night Live here Rob, are we in Home Alone 4? I feel like this interview has taken a bit of a turn! '".
Later in the show, Susanna had to intervene when former Republican presidential candidate Joe Walsh used inappropriate language live on air. After he said "p***ed off" twice, Susanna pointed out: "I'm not sure we can say that" before swiftly moving on to continue the discussion about the US election.
Viewers were left disgruntled due to the lack of British news during the broadcast. One viewer vented their frustration on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "FFS where's the British news, how many reporters do you need to send to America, enough already."

One viewer made their feelings clear, commenting: "Don't get this much coverage for a UK election, meanwhile - what's the weather over Oxfordshire going to be today? Any British news? " another chimed in with a similar sentiment, saying: "Is there anyone in the London studio to give us British news."
A separate individual queried: "Have I missed the weather and our local news? " paralleled by another's frustration: "No news happening anywhere else today then!"
In contrast to the critical voices, certain viewers expressed contentment as Trump surged ahead in the polls, with one enthusiast proclaiming: "TRUMP WINS. It is A WIN for the USA AND for the WORLD. Crazy He's been Voted IN for The 2nd time. I LOVE how The news channels are fuming! ! ! ".
On a different note, later into the broadcast, Susanna handed the reins over to Charlotte Hawkins in the London studio, who brought the audience up to speed with the day's UK news updates.
