Golf legend Tiger Woods to design second Texas course amid latest PGA Tour and LIV talks
Golf legend Tiger Woods has announced his latest venture, taking on the design of a new golf course in Aledo, Texas, as he partners again with Bluejack National and the Mitchells.
The 48 year old shared his excitement about the project on their website, saying: "I'm grateful for the encore opportunity to reteam with Bluejack National and home-towners Andy and Kristin Mitchell to design a course around this incredibly special property and community."
On the cusp of expanding his Texas golf course repertoire, Woods also remarked, "It's extremely motivating for me to contribute to the golfing legacy of Fort Worth, and I'm excited to see what we'll build together. We'll share more after our next design meeting in Aledo."
While delving into golf course design, Woods remains embroiled in ongoing negotiations between the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) regarding talks of merging with the contentious LIV Golf. These key discussions have seen Woods at the heart of them for over a year.

Luminaries like Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Justin Rose are also set to dazzle in the venue.
Woods, whose time is spread thin across multiple endeavours such as developing a virtual golf experience for TGL, nurturing his clothing brand Sun Day Red, and designing fresh courses, has reduced the frequency of his appearances on traditional golf courses, focusing only on select tournaments. The sporting legend looks forward to participating in the Hero World Challenge scheduled for Dec 5.

He underscored the importance of discretion and a positive outlook on the current talks, stating: "We've got to keep everything at a high level and private, but things are moving and things are changing... There's a good interchange of ideas and thoughts on how the game could look going forward. It's just a matter of putting that all together legally."
"Obviously we have the DOJ with oversight looking into that as well and making sure that we don't do anything improperly there, as well, but also making sure that all the players benefit from this as well as everyone who's involved. They want to make money as well. They want to make that return."
