Emmerdale's Cain Dingle 'framed for murder' as fans 'rumble' brutal Tom King twist

Emmerdale: Tracy finds out that Nate has left the village

Emmerdale fans are convinced that Tom King is set to pin a murder on Cain Dingle in an astonishing new twist.

Cain has been left reeling from the revelation that his sister, Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper), has been preyed upon by the dastardly Tom (portrayed by James Chase).

Belle has confided her harrowing experiences with Tom to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who in turn filled Cain in on the ordeal. Furious and ready to confront Tom without delay, Cain heeded Belle's plea through Charity to hold back. But it's not just Belle's anguish that Cain has to deal with more turmoil unravels around him.

His wife, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), has been exhibiting increasingly erratic behaviour, leading to an explosive discovery that she had "kissed" Cain's son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

Scenes broadcast recently showed Moira attempting a kiss on her stepson, only to be firmly rejected and admonished by him. The tension escalated as it appeared Moira suffered a seizure and wasn't really trying to kiss Nate, reports Leeds Live.

Caleb Milligan (Will Ash), Cains brother, saw the kiss and relayed what he saw to an already troubled Cain. Viewers with excellent memories will remember the past scandal when Moira and Nate engaged in an affair on his arrival in the village, throwing her marriage with Cain into chaos.

The recent allegations about the kiss incited Cain to furiously disown Nate, despite his sons sincere protests of innocence.

Nate's fate was left hanging in the balance after a brutal attack, leading to his departure from the village. Meanwhile, Tom has mysteriously disappeared, sparking fan theories that he may have murdered Nate with the intention of framing Cain.

On social media, speculation is rife, with one viewer posting: "Maybe Tom has killed Nate knowing that cain will get done for it."

This sentiment was echoed by another who commented: "Great theory." A third chimed in with: "Nate's body is going to turn up in the barn or near the barn ....He just disappeared, which is strange."

Despite the wild conjecture, Jurrell Carter, who has portrayed Nate for half a decade, revealed that his character has snagged a new gig in Shetland. However, as any seasoned soap watcher would attest, anything is possible in the dramatic world of Soapland.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
