Channel 5's Jeremy Vine Show in chaos as live show pulled off air
The Jeremy Vine Show was unexpectedly taken off the air due to a fire alarm.
The hit debate show on Channel 5 had to be taken off air when the studio was evacuated.
Vanessa Feltz, 62, who was filling in for Storm Huntley, 37, on the commercial network shared the news of the last-minute schedule shakeup.

"Nobody knows if it's real or pretend, but we think it's real because there's an actual fire engine and the building has been evacuated." She added: "I don't know what's going on with the show!"
Jeremy Vine's show airs on Channel 5 every weekday, bringing viewers a mix of current affairs, heated debates, and interviews. It typically runs from 9:15am to 11:30am.

The Jeremy vine show has been cut (Image: Getty)The official Jeremy Vine show page apologised to viewers for the delay. They took to social media to say: "Apologies for the absence of today's @JeremyVineOn5... we have a fire alarm @ITNProductions. I'm waiting and hoping we get restored very soon."
Some viewers joked that the mishap might be because it was Friday the 13th, a day famously associated with bad luck in Western folklore. One person wrote: "And on Friday the 13th too!" Another person chimed in: " Friday 13th and adding a smiley face with horns emoji."
Vanessa's brief appearance on the show was cut short when a fire alarm went off in the ITN building on Gray's Inn Road, where the programme is filmed. The entire staff had to evacuate as fire engines arrived at the Central London broadcast centre. Meanwhile, Feltz stepped out of the building looking glamorous, with a flurry of confused crew members bustling around behind her.

After her time on This Morning, Vanessa has remained a prominent figure in the media. She became a well-known voice on BBC Radio London, hosting a daily talk show, before moving to TalkRadio to continue in a similar role. Feltz has also made appearances on TV shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and TalkTV.
However, the TV presenter stepped down from her opinion-based programme to pursue new projects.
She said earlier this year: "I've had the most fabulous two years at TalkTV. It's been a joy and a revelation to work on a fledgling station. Among many experiences, it was my honour to break the news of the passing of Her Majesty, the Queen to viewers and broadcast live throughout that momentous time. As TalkTV steps back from linear TV, it's time for me to also step back and focus on my other commitments and new projects ahead."
