BBC pulls Jay Blades show 'off air' after 'controlling or coercive behaviour' charge
BBC’s hit feel-good series, David & Jay's Touring Toolshed has reportedly been pulled from programming and will no longer be on the channel’s schedule this evening.
The broadcaster has reportedly “pulled” the show “off-air” after presenter Jay Blades was charged following allegations of physical and emotional abuse.
On Friday morning, he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' charged with controlling and coercive behaviour against his estranged wife, Lisa Zbozen.

In a statement on Friday, West Mercia Police said: "54-year-old Jason Blades of Claverley in Wolverhampton has been charged with controlling and coercive behaviour.
"He appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning (Friday 13th September) and has been bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Friday 11th October."

During his recent hearing, the father-of-three was supported by two friends.
According to The Sun, the charge sheet states the TV star allegedly “repeatedly or continuously engaged in behaviour which was controlling or coercive, namely physical and emotional abuse towards Lisa Zbozen.”
The offences allegedly took place between January 1, 2023, and April 9, 2024.
