Agatha All Along is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Marvel Studios’ WandaVision starring Kathryn Hahn as the nefarious and powerful witch Agatha Harkness.

After facing off against Scarlet Witch (played by Elisabeth Olsen), Agatha finds herself trapped in the town of Westview, New Jersey.

She soon encounters a mysterious teen (Joe Locke) who helps her escape so he can face the challenges of the infamous Witches' Road.

However, now powerless, Agatha must form a new coven of witches in order to face what lies ahead in what promises to be a gripping Disney+ miniseries.

It’s been well over three years since fans last saw Agatha at the end of WandaVision, so there are millions of Marvel aficionados queuing up to see her return.

The project was officially announced in November 2021, so fans have been waiting almost three years for the series to come out.

As part of a clever marketing campaign, several erroneous titles were confirmed by Marvel, sending fans into a frenzy until the series was finally confirmed to be called Agatha All Along, in reference to Agatha’s viral theme at the end of WandaVision.

It’s scheduled for release on Wednesday, September 18 in the US with the first two episodes, though in the UK it will be available Thursday, September 19.

Agatha’s adventures will then continue every Wednesday/Thursday up until November 6, perfect viewing for Halloween.

Fans could either watch as the series airs or wait and binge most of the series during spooky season in time for the finale.

Both episodes of the series premiere will drop at 9pm ET, a major shift from previous Marvel series that were all released earlier in the morning.

This means new episodes won’t be available in the UK until early Thursday mornings, at 2am.

Landing top billing for Agatha All Along is, of course, Hollywood star Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness.

She’s best known for appearances in comedies like Step Brothers, Parks and Recreation and Bad Moms, later drawing acclaim for dramatic roles in Mrs Fletcher and Glass Onion.

This isn’t her first foray into the Marvel Universe, as she also voiced Olivia Octavius/Doctor Octopus in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Also along for the ride is Heartstopper star Joe Locke as ‘teen’. His character’s name has remained a mystery, but he’s widely speculated to be playing Billy Kaplan/Wiccan, the son of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and a member of the Young Avengers.

Joining in supporting roles are Aubrey Plaza as another witch, Rio Vidal, Sasheer Zamata as sorceress Jennifer Kale, Ali Ahn as Alice Wu-Gulliver, Miles Gutierrez-Riley as ‘teen’’s boyfriend and Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, a 450-year-old Sicilian witch.

Agatha All Along premieres Thursday, September 19 on Disney+ in the UK.
