GB News host talks Prince Harry's 'tip off' amid 'worst' move after Kate's cancer news

Kate Middleton shares cancer update in personal video message

GB News returned for Tuesday's edition of Breakfast with Isabel Webster and Eamonn Holmes' temporary replacement, Ben Leo, as the regular host takes a break from his presenting duties.

The pair addressed a new update from Kensington Palace where it was announced Princess Kate was now cancer-free after undergoing treatment.

However, just hours after the candid family video alongside Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis was released, the trailer for Prince Harry's latest Netflix offering dropped.

The GB News presenters were joined by royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield who gushed over Catherine, Princess of Wales, branding her the most popular royal.

Isabel said: "The teaser for Harry and Meghan's Netflix project dropped just hours after this video was released by Kensington Palace.

"What's your take on that? Do you think they would have been tipped off that this has just come out?"

Kinsey replied: "I think this is the worst possible coincidence.

"I think that Netflix, their PR team, and marketing team were probably as good as they're paid to be, knowing Harry and Meghan got $100,000 from their deal that they should have seen that video and known it was time to pull it and release it at another date.

"I thought it was very vulgar and opportunistic to release it at such a compelling and intimate message from the Princess of Wales."

Ben and Isabel were later joined by royal correspondent Cameron Walker, who shut down claims it was Harry's decision to release the Netflix trailer to his polo documentary.

"I think it was unfortunate timing," he explained, "Prince Harry wouldn't have had any say on the publication. That was Netflix's choice - not Harry and Meghan's."

He added: "Whether it was a coincidence or deliberate only [Netflix] can answer that."

Netflix's official X account read: "POLO is a new documentary series that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport. From Archewell Productions and Boardwalk Pictures. Premiering this December."

Meanwhile, Kate shared a health update just hours before Harry's new documentary teaser.

She shared a heartwaming insight into her family life with her loved ones as she opened up about her "relief" at finally completing her chemotherapy treatment.

The Princess of Wales added: "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

"The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."

She also shared she will be attending a few more public engagements in the coming months.
