ITV This Morning's Cat and Ben issue huge presenter return announcement live on air
Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have announced the much-anticipated return of Fern Britton to This Morning. Following a commercial break, the presenting pair shared the "exciting news" with eager viewers.
Ben told the audience: "Hello and welcome back, we have got some exciting news for you," as Cat chipped in: "Really exciting."
He added: "This autumn we have a lot of wonderful new content coming your way take a look."
The preview clip that followed sent fans into a frenzy as it confirmed former host Fern Britton's much-anticipated comeback to the show, reports the Mirror.During the voiceover, Cat teased: "Welcome to the new season of This Morning and a new season with new adventures."

Caught off-guard on camera, Fern asked, "Is this the piece to camera? " before realising they were rolling and quickly apologised with an "Oh sorry! ".

Cat then revealed: "Yes, it is hats off to Fern as she explores the Isles of Britain,".
As the video wrapped up, viewers heard Fern exclaim, "Wow, this is a million dollar view,".
Fern presented This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield from 1999 to 2009 before she was eventually replaced by Holly Willoughby. Her exit from the show wasn't amicable, as she later admitted she and Schofield were no longer in contact.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
