Emmerdale Moira Dingle's exit 'sealed' 15 years after debut in heartbreaking health twist

Emmerdale: Moira finds out lamb Minty has died

Emmerdale aired heartbreaking scenes for Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J.Robb) on Tuesday evening (August 27) leaving fans worried the character is about to make an exit amid a serious health condition.

Over recent months, fans of the ITV soap have seen Moira's behaviour change which appeared to start when her son Matty (Ash Palmisciano) was wrongfully thrown in prison.

Moira has been experiencing unexpected outbursts and harsh words aimed at Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) leaving her husband confused, and annoyed.

While acting out of character, Moira has also started drinking again following a battle with alcoholism three years ago, but Cain is yet to learn the reasons for her unexplained antics.

While it appeared Moira and Cain's constant arguments were sparked by her drinking - there has been a terrifying health twist for the farmer.

At the beginning of Tuesday's episode, Cain was once again fuming to find Moira with his son Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) as they toasted to the success of a new arrival at the farm.

This sparked bad memories for the mechanic as Moira and Nate once had an affair.

But later in the episode, Moira was working at the barn when she suddenly collapsed and suffered a seizure.

Although the heartbreaking scene appeared to point toward Moira suffering from epilepsy, some Emmerdale viewers think she has a terminal brain tumour.

Taking to social media, one viewer wrote: "Poor Moira, her behaviour indicates a brain tumour, a common symptom, and there has been many broken relationships before diagnosis, because their partners or spouses get the wrong end of the stick to the abnormal behaviour."

A second wrote: "I'm going with brain tumour on the Fronto Temporal lobe."

A third exclaimed: "Brain tumor, EastEnders have done this storyline with the sezuire etc."

"Brain tumour. I was thinking she was peri but obvs not! Some brain tumours can make you do weird stuff. Edit: Nate is about the only one that talks sense! He may be wrong but at least he was having a go!", explained one fan.

"I'd be surprised if it wasn't a brain tumour. She's got all of the main symptoms: headache, fits, memory issues and change in personality", added another.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
