Jermaine Jenas' grovelling apology over 'disgraceful' behaviour before BBC axe
Jermaine Jenas was forced to issue an apology last year after he labelled referee Robert Jones a "complete s***house" during the fiery North London Derby.
This came less than a year before he was sacked from BBC shows Match of the Day and The One Show over "inappropriate behaviour".
The BBC has issued a statement confirming "Jenas is no longer part of our line-up," as the star has also addressed his excit on TalkSport.
Last year, the former One Show co-host was incensed when Arsenal was granted a contentious penalty in the match that concluded with a 2-2 stalemate. The decision came after a protracted VAR check which resulted in Spurs' Cristian Romero being called out for a handball, allowing Bukayo Saka to convert from the spot.

They're all ruining our game! " However, facing backlash for his remarks, Jenas has since retracted his words, admitting that he let his emotions take over.
He expressed regret, stating: "I hold my hands up, I got it wrong yesterday. I should know, more than most, the responsibility we have as fans, players and pundits and the impact our words online can have as it's an area I've been vocal in."

Jermaine issued a grovelling apology after his comments (Image: Getty Images)His initial outburst drew condemnation from Referee charity RefSupportUK, who slammed the comment as "disgraceful".
They rebuked Jenas saying: "This is a disgraceful tweet and you should be ashamed," adding, "Your tweet encourages online abuse of referees and considering your role on TV your employers need to give their head a wobble."
"Remember Anthony Taylor and his family were attacked at an airport because of antics such as yours."
They also highlighted that Jenas led the 'Love Football, Protect the Game' initiative before the season kicked off, where he advocates for "no more abuse" in football.

"People of influence working, for BBC, or anyone else for that matter, have a responsibility to not be the starting gun for referee abuse," the charity continued. "Not so long ago the FA were paying him to be part of a campaign to protect match officials. His hypocrisy is breathtaking."
In a promotional video for the campaign, Jenas states: "The emotions of the game get to us all. I know all about that. But whether out on the pitch, in the stands or on the sidelines, we've all got to do better, at all levels."
"No more surrounding refs, no more abuse, no more intimidation, no more discrimination. Let's make sure that this season is different. We all do it for the love of the game. Let's show our pride and passion in the right way."
