Bad Sisters: Official trailer

Apple's acclaimed comedic drama Bad Sisters, created and starred in by Sharon Horgan, is set to return for a second season. The popular series, featuring Horgan alongside Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson, will see the Garvey sisters back on our screens.

However, fans will have to be patient as the second season won't air until November 13. Apple TV shared a sneak peek of the glamorous cast seated at a long table adorned with floral wreaths, wine glasses, silver candlesticks and a large white tablecloth.

The first two episodes will premiere simultaneously, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday through December 25. The eight-episode second season is once again the brainchild of Emmy Award-nominated and BAFTA Award-winning executive producer and star Horgan.

New additions to the cast include Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward and Peter Claffey. Season two continues to follow the lives of the Garvey sisters Eva (Horgan), Grace (Duff), Ursula (Birthistle), Bibi (Greene) and Becka (Hewson), reports the Mirror.

According to Apple: "Two years after the 'accidental death' of Grace's abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust."
