You on Netflix star Penn Badgley has hopped on a TikTok trend to share a tantalising look behind-the-scenes on the fifth and final season.

The popular thriller follows Penn’s sociopathic stalker Joe Goldberg who becomes wrapped up in crime and corruption whilst on the run from his violent past.

After a shocking conclusion to the fourth season set in the world of the London elite, Joe is back in New York for the last-ever instalment of the Netflix hit.

Penn recently took to TikTok and used a social media trend to humorously confirm he has been wrapping up his final day of filming.

“You see how I show up to work?” he shared to the camera.

The video then cuts to Penn leaving his car with a couple of heavy bags, quipping: “Very demure, very mindful.”

“I don’t really do too much when I’m at work,” he said in another clip of himself crossing the New York streets. “I’m very… mindful.”

The video then cuts to a split-second clip of Penn screaming in Joe’s signature glass cage, a prison where he keeps his victims hostage.

Finally, the Netflix A-lister is seen by a window, telling his fans: “Playing a romantic icon for five seasons…

“I’m very modest, very mindful. You see my shirt?” He then tilts the camera down to reveal more of his grey vest.

“Showing the shoulders, not the boulders,” he teased. The star’s video is referencing a trend that has TikTok obsessed, originating from content creator Jools Lebron’s satirical video advising women how to dress for work.

Fans of You were absolutely loving the latest glimpse of the final season, which will take Joe back to his roots before wrapping up the Netflix hit for good.

“You is a spectacular show. PB is awesome,” one fan replied when Netflix posted the video on YouTube.

Under the TikTok post, one of Penn’s fans said: “Makes me sad that the show is coming to an end. Thank you for playing Joe Goldberg, Penn Badgley.”

“STOP IM GONNA MISS JOE GOLDBERG SO MUCH,” another exclaimed, adding plenty of crying emojis.

And another simply said: “Cant wait for this season!!!!”

An official release date for season five hasn’t been set, but it’s expected to drop in late 2024 or early 2025.
