Laura Tobin sparked backlash as the Good Morning Britain presenter delivered her latest weather report during Friday's edition (August 16).

The meteorologist travelled to Cheltenham where she later joined BBC's Countryfile presenter Adam Henson at his Cotswolds Farm.

The 42 year old wowed in an off-the-shoulder yellow summer dress as she delivered the forecast in a field of daffodils. Laura wore her brunette tresses in loose waves as they cascaded down her back, before saying she was the "bearer of good news".

She told viewers the UK had warm weather to look forward to over the coming days but it was not the good news which sparked a problem.

Social media users complained about the forecaster travelling to different locations.

One moaned: "Oh, there’s no surprise that Laura is out and about on her carbon producing odyssey."

Another tweeted: "Mrs climate queen out and about again."

A third argued: "Laura the climate change explorer. Doing more to lower emissions is not a thing when Greta Tobin is out and about on another attention seeking jolly."

A fourth shared: "Nice to see Laura burning some spare carbon in the Cotswolds. Well done. Wouldn’t it be awful if the presenters just read the weather?"

Laura, who is an advocate for climate change, often presents her weather reports in various locations across the country.

The weather star received plenty of praise from viewers as they later gushed over her appearance.

"Good Morning Laura. You are a ray of sunshine. Today looking gorgeous," one tweeted.
