Meghan and Harry told 'get professional help' as they're torn apart by politician

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit Nigeria in May

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told to "get a grip" by former Labour Minister Bill Rammell. The politician made the remarks while commenting on their tour of Colombia.

Referencing the recent loss of their aide who quit after just three months in the role, he advised they need "professional help": "To lose one member of staff from your entourage might be deemed unfortunate - to lose 18 in 6 years is a bit of a disaster. And I think they need to get a grip.

"They need to hire some decent staff. More importantly, they need to listen to them and bluntly be told what to do because they're trashing their brand," he opined.

He also queried the wisdom of the Columbia trip given Price Harry's very vocal outbursts about security issues for his family in the UK.

"As a minister, I went to Colombia three times, and I only went with protection officers because it's one of the most dangerous countries in the world," he said.

"However, I think you can have some sympathy for him. He's a damaged young man, he lost his mother at a very early age and that's clearly scarred him.

"He's estranged from his father and his brother, and speaking as a human being, not a monarchist, I think that's very sad," he refelected speaking to GB News.

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Harry and Meghan for comment.

The Sussexes' Chief of Staff Josh Kettler stepped down a few days ago, with the couple releasing a statement saying it was a mutual decision.

People Magazine has claimed that he was hired for a trial period and when it came to an end both sides felt that he was not a correct fit for the household.

He joins a long line of prestigious quitters, following the exit of Bennett Levine, manager of the Sussex's TV company Archewell Productions, who quit at the start of the year.

Oscar-nominated producer Ben Browning, also quit as head of internal content at the company in January last year.

Mr Kettler was reportedly hired to "guide [Prince Harry] through his next phase", but has now left him in the lurch before the major international visit.

Though he was only in position for a short time, he was said to have been instrumental in the Sussexes' successful Nigerian tour. But has now left the Duke and Duchess in Limbo after quitting the role
