Scrubs' Zach Braff issues warning to fans as he teases show reboot

Today: ‘Scrubs’ Cast Reunites 10 Years After Show’s Finale

Scrubs star Zach Braff has teased fans with the possibility of a series revival.

The hit medical comedy, which delighted audiences for nine years until its conclusion in 2010, followed the trials and tribulations of interns at Sacred Heart Hospital, including John 'J.D' Dorian, Elliot Reid, and Christopher Turk, as they navigated their way through the medical world with the help of experienced doctors like Bob Kelso, Perry Cox, and Carla Espinosa.

Braff, who brought the character of J.D to life, revealed to Entertainment Tonight that there's a chance for these cherished characters to return to our television screens.

However, he cautioned that the return hinges on the resolution of legal matters involving Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence.

"I'm gonna tell you something that nobody else is gonna get. Scrubs is a Disney show. Bill has a Warner Bros. deal. Once those two companies figure that out, I think the people will get what they want. I think it's gonna happen," Braff hinted, reports the Daily Star.

The 49 year old actor, who was nominated for three Golden Globes for his portrayal, is thrilled about the idea of reuniting with fellow cast members Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Ken Jenkins, John C. McGinley, and Judy Reyes, according to the Mirror.

"We all still hang out," Braff said. "A lot of people who were on long shows say that, but it's true. I was just on vacation with Sarah Chalke. I'm going to the beach with Bill next weekend. We're all friends."

Despite the success and popularity of Scrubs, the intense filming schedule left the cast feeling "exhausted".

Zach Braff nostalgically recalled his time on set during the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast, saying: "I miss laughing every day. Belly laughing every day was - that was the job. And when that goes away, by the time nine years were over, we were sort of all exhausted by it.

"We were starting to repeat jokes. Everyone's pretty fried. We would do insane hours that people don't even do anymore. We didn't really have much of a life outside of it. So we were just kind of fried."
