ITV's beloved crime series Vera has made a comeback to our screens over the last few weeks as the broadcaster airs reruns from series 10, 11, and 12 in anticipation of the ultimate chapter, series 14, slated for release in 2025.
Viewers are set to experience mixed emotions as they revisit past episodes, reconnecting with fan-favourite characters who have since departed from the long-running show. The seasoned Kenny Doughty said farewell to his role as Sergeant Aiden Healy last year, and Ibinabo Jack also departed from her part as DC Jacqueline Williams.
In addition, Paul Kaye, known for his acclaimed role as the adored pathologist Dr Malcolm Donahue in Vera, made his final appearance on the show in January 2023.
