22 Kids and Counting star breaks down in tears as sister speaks out on 'disaster'

Chloe Radford cries over brother looking for another job

Emotions ran high in the latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting, as Ellie Radford confessed: "This is going to be a disaster."

While attempting to get her younger siblings fit for the upcoming Tough Mudder event, chaos ensued with one family member ending up in tears.

Amid the hustle of kids scampering in the back garden, navigating makeshift obstacles and embracing the mud, Ellie encountered "setbacks". Looking into the camera, she optimistically shared: "That went pretty good. I'm pretty hopeful about this Tough Mudder, but I feel like most of them want to get to the end before everyone else so they won't help each other. They're too competitive."

However, troubles arose when young Casper trapped himself inside a pink plastic castle, wailing in distress. Ellie observed, saying: "He's sat in the castle crying."

and offered words of encouragement to her brother: "Casper you wasn't disqualified, you did fine," reports the Mirror.

Reflecting on the fraught preparation, the narrator added their insight: "There are 10 days to go but with the pressure of Tough Mudder, the family's already starting to crack."

In a sobering moment, Ellie confessed again: "This is going to be a disaster."

The tension arrives hot on the heels of Sue and Noel's son Daniel choosing to depart from the series and from his parents to embark on a new life in Australia after landing a job there. His decision came following a car accident that had barred him from driving for two years.

The overseas news, as recounted by Sue, was disclosed under unusual circumstances: "We were actually in America when we found out about this and Daniel had text Noel to say 'Is Mum with you?'"

"I think he was more worried about my reaction than how he was because he knew we would be really worried about him. Daniel was always a really confident person, he was a confident driver but since this accident, I think his confidence with driving has really taken a knock because he's not wanted to drive another car," Sue revealed.

Sue disclosed her apprehensions: "I do fear the kids leaving home. I'm going to miss him."

Recounting the terrifying ordeal, Daniel confessed: "I couldn't get the seatbelt off. Definitely the scariest thing I've been through. I was working away in Bristol and I was going to pick some food up with my friend and I came to a junction and as I came left out of the junction, I turn my head to the back of the car to speak to my friend and I've turned the wheel the other way and it's hit a curb."

"It flipped the car over and then I was just upside-down and I couldn't get out of the car."
