Tom Cruise causes concern as 'upset' Olympics viewers issue stern stunt warning

Olympics viewers were left unimpressed as they demanded to know where Tom Cruise and Billie Eilish were during the closing ceremony before his jaw-dropping performance.

The huge Hollywood stars, along with Snoop Dogg and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, were scheduled to perform during the Paris closing event for the Los Angeles handover for the 2028 ceremony.

However, it seems that the stars took too long to arrive, as viewers rushed to social media to share their fury at the "boring" closing moments, as many threatened to get upset and switch off.

Little did they know, the wait would be worth it, as Cruise sent the crowd wild with a stunning high-octane stunt to help the LA handover.

One said: "If it wasn't for Tom Cruise I'd already be out, I've been to cheerier funerals, it's over time to celebrate & party with these athletes."

Another added: "Just awful. Have a clue what’s going on! Where’s #Tom??" as a third agreed: "Can we just get onto the Tom Cruise ridiculous stunt part now please."

A fourth chimed in: "I mean.. the music to the VT is good….? If Tom Cruise doesn’t appear soon I’m going to bed."

A fifth agreed: "If Tom Cruise doesn’t throw himself off the roof of the stadium I’ll be very upset."

The same was said for Billie, who is due to sing as part of the celebrations, as one said: "Where’s Billie Eilish, it’s almost bed time ffs."

Another agreed: "Me patiently waiting for Billie's performance but that means having to watch 3 hours of a closing ceremony."

Luckily, Tom eventually made a jaw-dropping appearance as he was suddenly seen on the roof of the Stade de France before he rappelled down the side to the ground.

The relaxed star then greeted the crowd as he made his way to the other side, before jumping on a motorbike with the Olympic flag before riding off camera.

In a show-stopping video, he was then seen flying from Paris to Los Angeles before he skydived out of the plane to beside the iconic Hollywood sign, which featured the Olympics rings.

Tom's performance then led to singing stints from Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
