All Creatures Great and Small actor Callum Woodhouse recently enjoyed a catch-up with his former co-star Daisy Waterstone at an Italian-American restaurant in London. The pair, who played siblings Leslie and Margo in ITV's sun-soaked comedy-drama The Durrells from 2016 to 2019, proved they've remained close friends as Woodhouse shared a photo of Waterstone at the eatery on Instagram, tagging her in the post.

The Durrells, based on Gerald Durrell's autobiographical Corfu trilogy, also starred Bodyguard's Keeley Hawes, Challengers' Josh O'Connor and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children's Milo Parker. Set in 1935, the series follows widow Louisa as she starts a new life on the Greek island with her four challenging children Larry, Leslie, Margo and Gerry.

Several episodes were directed by Steve Barron, known for directing music videos such as Michael Jackson's Billie Jean and Bryan Adams' Summer of 69.

Woodhouse previously told PBS that after filming wrapped on the fourth and final series, around 40 cast and crew members celebrated by diving into the sea.

"We all went out for a meal in one of our favourite restaurants in Corfu Town to mark the end of the series. It's on the harbour, looking out onto the sea and at the end of the meal, Keeley stood up and said 'Right, we're all going in the sea! ' Everyone stood up from the tables and we all followed her into the sea and were swimming about for at least 30 minutes. There was about 40 of us all together and it was very special," he said, reports the Mirror.

Hawes herself, who is married to Matthew Macfadyen of Deadpool and Wolverine fame, reminisced over that time as well.

"The actual final scene of the whole show in Corfu we filmed a few weeks before we finished," she recollected. "That was the most emotional. It involved all of the main players and we knew it was the end. That was very sad. It was quite tricky to hold that together. We all had a round of applause afterwards and lots of hugs."
