Emmerdale: Moira finds out lamb Minty has died

Emmerdale viewers have predicted a shock split between Cain (played by Jeff Hordley) and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) as their marriage hits the rocks. The couple have been clashing ever since Cain's nephew Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) got Moira's son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) wrongfully thrown in jail.

Following pressure from thug Josh Cope (Osian Morgan), Samson lied to the police and said Matty had stabbed him on purpose which got him thrown in jail.

Moira was desperate to prove Samson's statement was false as Matty faced a horrific time behind bars. But when the teen finally told the truth, Moira didn't forgive Samson.

Meanwhile, Cain helped his nephew prepare for time in the slammer by toughening him up, but as the two sparred Moira was left furious at the sight.

She accused her husband of betraying her innocent son by helping Samson. But when Samson stood up to Josh he assaulted the bully which resulted in him getting arrested.

Cain spotted Moira smiling as Samson was led out of The Woolpack in handcuffs. When they arrived home, Cain accused Moira of grassing Samson up to the police which led to an explosive row where she threw a glass at him.

The next day Cain tried to cool the tense situation but speaking about Samson, Moira remarked: "They should throw away the key", and accused Cain of exacerbating the situation by trying to toughen Samson up for prison.

"So now this is all my fault?" Cain questioned, only to receive a sarcastic retort from Moira, who blamed him for turning Samson into "another thug which their family didn't need."

As Cain and Moira continue to clash, some soap fans are predicting their marriage is over and it will be her fault.

Taking to X, one Emmerdale fan wrote: "Not saying this is right BUT the way they're turning Moira's character & Cain & her always arguing usually means there's an affair on the way or something else equally daft on the cards."

A second exclaimed: "Of course it was Moira.... oh dear, her and Cain may breakup over this #Emmerdale", while a third chimed in: "Moira really is very nasty. She's Jekyll and Hyde. Pack your bags Cain #Emmerdale."

Another stated: "SO BORED of this endless cycle of Cain & Moira arguing then making up. Moira has been so vile to her husband recently that it’s getting unbelievable that he forgives her and they get back together."
