Love is Blind UK, hosted by Emma and Matt Willis, landed on Netflix on Wednesday, August 7, with part one and welcomed 30 singletons all hoping to find a match.

The new series, which is the first-ever UK version, sees couples get to know one another in pods, form a connection, and then get engaged without ever having seen one another.

One of those couples hoping to tie the knot is London-based PR and advertising consultant Tom, 38, and makeup artist Maria, 30, from Southhampton.

The couple got engaged despite Tom also forming a bond with career coordinator Tasha, 32, from Cheshire. However, in the end, Tom admitted he wasn't sure if it was a romantic love with Tasha and told her he had to trust his feelings as he turned his attention to Maria, reports the Mirror.

And with part two not dropping for another week, fans are desperate to know if Tom and Maria are still together. While we won't know for sure until the series ends, here are all the clues regarding the status of Tom and Maria's relationship.

The first meeting

Tom and Maria's first meet outside of the pods went very well indeed and resulted in Tom covered in lipstick.

The couple couldn't stop embracing one another as they admitted they were "so happy," and said they already felt "very comfortable," with one another.

"I just want to make out with you," Tom told Maria, as she responded: "We'll get our time alone."

Later, Maria gushed to the cameras: "All of it felt lovely, kissing him, cuddling him, it felt so comfortable - it didn't feel weird or awkward."

Meanwhile, Tom shared an equally heartfelt confession and said: "Every single minute of it just felt amazing. I just can't wait to be with her." Judging by their first encounter, it seems the couple is on a promising path.

Do Tom and Maria follow one another on Instagram?

Yes, both Tom and Maria are on the social media platform under the handles @stroudtom and @mariabenkh. They both have active accounts, follow one another and engage with each other's posts, which definitely points to positive vibes between the two.

Did they go on honeymoon?

Yes, after getting engaged, Tom and Maria were fortunate enough to jet off to Greece for their honeymoon, one of the five couples to do so. Upon arrival at their villa, a smitten Tom exclaimed: "I can't believe I get to wake up to you."

A "coming up" trailer dropped at the end of episode four alludes to the pair indeed standing before the altar on their big day, with Tom seen presumably speaking his vows as he can be heard saying: "I really can't wait to grow further with you. I love you."

Yet, whether the wedding will go ahead as planned remains a mystery. The teaser also foreshadows potential drama, in one upcoming episode, Maria can be seen in tears, as she confesses to the cameras: "I've never felt as secure with someone as I have with Tom. He really is the most amazing man."

The preview also teased a moment between Tom and Tasha, with Tasha embracing Tom and saying: "I just think you're such an incredible person, Tom."

The fate of Tom and Maria's relationship hangs in the balance, and viewers will be kept guessing until the inaugural season of Love is Blind UK concludes. However, eagle-eyed fans can expect more hints as the series unfolds and documents the couple's evolving romance.
