Homes Under the Hammer: Dion speaks to recurring guest

Details about Homes Under the Hammer star Dion Dublin's marriage to his wife Cheryl are scarce, but it's known that they tied the knot seven years ago and have a daughter named Ruby Roseanne.

The couple, who also have two dogs, Frank and Maggie, often grace special events together, striking poses on the red carpet, yet they maintain a private family life.

In an exclusive glimpse into their personal world in 2018, Dion told The Mirror about their holiday habits and domestic life: "If the weather's right then I'd always stay in the UK.

"I love getting away with my wife and dog. My wife's a better cook than me by a million miles. She does most of the cooking as I'm out at work, and always makes sure I'm fed and watered."

Cheryl made headlines earlier this year when she committed to running 5k daily for a month to support an animal charity.

Dion expressed his admiration on social media, saying: "My wife Cheryl will be running 5k a day in May to help raise money for the pet blood bank.

"Any donations greatly appreciated or if you have a dog who may be able to donate blood please check out their Twitter page @petbloodbank."

The couple also enjoyed a VIP experience at a 50 Cent concert last November, documented by Dion's selfies.

Additionally, the Dublin family had a blast during Halloween, attending comedian Jason Manford's themed house party.

The ex-Manchester United and Aston Villa ace has opened up to Mirror Football about his path to becoming a favourite on Homes Under the Hammer, reports the Mirror.

"[The BBC] found out [I'd established a building firm] and said, 'Do you fancy walking around an empty house in Salford and tell us what you think of it?' And that's basically what happened," he explained.

"I walked around an empty house in Salford with a cameraman, had a look around and I said what I would do if it was mine. They liked it and there you go, that's how I've got onto Homes Under the Hammer."
