New Destiny project Payback no longer happening, senior execs depart

Bungie is no longer working on Payback, a new project set in the Destiny universe once overseen by franchise bosses Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy. That's according to reporting by Gamespot's Tamoor Hussain, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb and Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who all state that Smith and Noseworthy are also now no longer at Bungie. Details of Payback leaked online back in April, when it was described as "Destiny 3". There were questions at the time over whether the project was still in development.
