Emmerdale Jai's sinister plan for Laurel 'revealed' after split - and fans are worried
Emmerdale’s Jai Sharma has a sinister plan in store for ex-wife Laurel Thomas, fans have predicted.
In recent weeks, viewers have seen the breakdown of Jai (Chris Bisson) and Laurel’s (Charlotte Bellamy) marriage.
The pair went their separate ways after Jai confessed that he blackmailed his biological father Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam) to sign over his half of his business.
This meant his half-brother Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) was left without his stake. Finding out the truth, Laurel was left fuming that Jai had returned to his conniving ways.
So much so, that she called it quits with him. And over in the Dales recently, Jai was left heartbroken, and furious, when Laurel demanded a divorce.

However, fans now fear things could take a dark turn for Jai, following Laurel's demand for a divorce. Viewers are convinced he will end up kidnapping Laurel, similar to what he did to Charity (Emma Atkins) in 2014.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Is this the start of Jai going full villain?”

Someone else mused: “So is Laurel gonna end up in Jai's storage box where he kept Charity.” A third penned: “I haven't forgotten that he kidnapped and tortured Charity, keeping her in a shipping container for a week.”
Another chimed in and wrote: “Watch him do that Laurel next,” as a fifth proclaimed: “Laurel needs to watch out, but it’s probably too late.”
Actor Chris previously opened up about how viewers are going to see a different side of him going forward, amid his relationship troubles.
He said: “[This] has changed something inside him and going forward the way he views life and people and relationships may well be affected.
Certainly the way he treats business will probably be affected, too.”
Chris went on: “I think he is going to become a bit more ruthless. He feels he has been taken for a bit of a fool and he feels like that is never going to happen again. So yes, maybe Bad Jai is back!”
