Loose Women faced a flurry of viewer comments on Tuesday when fans pointed out that the show's panel made a blunder during a segment on the US presidential race.

While delving into the headlines about Joe Biden potentially bowing out and Kamala Harris possibly leading the charge against Trump, Ruth Langsford commented: "It will be interesting won't it, to see Donald Monica Lewinsky. against a woman."

Echoing her sentiments, Coleen Nolan chimed in: "I think it will be really interesting to see how he will react to a woman."

With Nolan noting Trump's penchant for aggressive retorts, highlighting: "He's always on the attack, isn't he? He was always calling Biden out for his age."

However, eagle-eyed audiences were swift to recall that Trump has indeed previously faced off against a female contender Hillary Clinton back in 2016 taking to Twitter to remind the presenters of their oversight, reports the Mirror.

Audiences flooded the platform with reminders: "#LooseWomen completely forgetting Trump stood against Hilary Clinton. Who I believe is a woman. @loosewomen."

Another weighed in with historical accuracy: "We've seen Donald Trump in a debate with Hilary Clinton," and others too questioned, "Donald Trump was against a woman before. Have they forgotten that? ".

The remarks even sparked wit among the viewers, as one fan teased: "Didn't Trump go against Hillary Clinton? ".

Finally, punches of sharp memory served via Twitter continued to land as viewers recalled past political battles: "Did you not hear Trump against Hilary Clinton who was a woman!?"

Meanwhile, as the conversation continued, Coleen expressed her wish to witness a woman ascend to the presidential throne for the first time.

She asserted: "I'd also like to see a female President of the United States, I think it would be historic."

Her declaration was met with enthusiastic approval as it prompted an explosive response from the audience.

Denise weighed in further, saying: "I would like to see an elected female, but I do agree with giving her that chance."

Not holding back her thoughts on Trump, Denise stated: "I think, and not as a Trump fan I might add, that we can't underestimate Trump he is a misogynist but then again as you said he also called Joe Bien all the names under the sun."

Contemplating on Trump's potential strategy, she speculated: "He may just if she's made the president and they get to debate, he's clever enough to think, 'I know that everyone is going to think that I'm going to come over as this misogynistic old drone, so I'm going to go the other way'."

The popular ITV presenter noted that although Trump retains significant backing, Joe Biden's withdrawal has indeed shaken up the Democratic party.
