Christina Trevanion is a Bargain Hunt favourite but who is the presenter married to?

The BBC host has been part of the BBC Bargain Hunt team since 2012 and will be returning today, Tuesday, July 23, for another episode with experts Kate Bliss and Richard Madley.

As Christina leads the way in another head-to-head between the blue and the red teams, here’s all there is known about the star’s love life away from the cameras.

Is Bargain Hunt expert Christina Trevanion married? 

Bargain Hunt star Christina Trevanion prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight but it is known that she is married to 43-year-old Aaron Dean.

They reportedly met while he was studying Fine Arts Valuation at Southampton Solent University and after graduating in 2002, he spent the next 10 years as an auctioneer at Gorringe’s antique auctions in Sussex.

According to the star’s X account, formerly Twitter, she and Aaron got married on New Year’s Eve in 2010 with the Bargain Hunt presenter wearing a wedding dress by designer Jenny Packham.

She was walked down the aisle by her dad David, who sadly passed away three years later.

It was also in 2013 that Aaron made the move to the world of TV in 2013, working as a valuer and researcher on the BBC series Flog It!.

The following year, the married duo set up the auction house Trevanion & Dean in Shropshire which Christina took sole ownership of in 2019 when he left to join Adam Partridge Auctioneers.

At the time of him leaving, Aaron said in a statement: “I am delighted that Christina is now taking over the business. I’m excited to see it thrive under her leadership.

“I’ve had a fantastic four years at Trevanion and Dean, full of laughter and fun, and it's time for me to move on.”

The business is now known as Trevanion Auctioneers and Valuers and is based in Whitchurch, near Cheshire.

Together, Christina and Aaron share two daughters although their names and ages aren’t known as the presenter prefers to keep them away from the public eye.

But she did previously mention them in an interview with Antique Collecting in 2016, while discussing the items she has collected over a number of years.

She explained: "[I have] an eclectic mix of inherited family pieces and treasured saleroom purchases. I have two small children and so my 18th-century teapot collection was packed away until they get a little older!"
