Donald Trump returning to Piers Morgan Uncensored after storming off set
Piers Morgan has confirmed Donald Trump has agreed to do another interview days after the Republican nominee survived an assassination attempt with a bullet graze to the ear.
The former Good Morning Britain host, 59, shared the news with his 8.7 million followers on X, formely known as Twitter, on Sunday afternoon (July 21).
"Donald Trump called me last night after watching this segment and we had a 15-min chat about bullets, Biden, the presidential race, Jagger, bleeding ears, and the elixir of eternal youth", Morgan wrote.
"Never known him sound so chilled which is pretty astonishing given he was shot a week ago."
The TV star later added: "He agreed to do another interview", as he confirmed Trump, 78, will take part in a second discussion.

During a trailer for their discussion, Trump appeared to storm out of an interview with Morgan after he was questioned about losing the 2020 election.
It also showed the former president calling the presenter “dishonest” and “a fool”.
The air date for Trump's new interview with Morgan is yet to be confirmed. However, the news comes eight days after Trump was shot during a rally.

The 45th president is hoping to win the 2024 US election for a second term in office, but on Saturday, July 13, he fell victim to an assassination attempt.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, reportedly fired at Trump while he was speaking at the rally in Pennsylvania. Crooks was killed by Secret Service snipers.
Trump, who said he was shot in the ear, was surrounded by Secret Service and hurried to his SUV as he pumped his fist in a show of defiance.
