Four in a Bed owner's brutal response to harsh feedback after guests refused to return

Four in a Bed: Pam tells Sheila there's hair in her room

Four in a Bed's business owner Pam didn't hold back her words after reading the feedback from her guests. In a rerun episode of the Channel 4 show, viewers were transported to Bridgewater in Somerset.

Mum and daughter duo Pam and Mya offered a slightly different experience to the other participants on the show. Their apartments, located 200 miles away from the accommodation, provided a more modern approach.

Instead of the usual guest greeting, Pam revealed she was a remote host and guests could self-check-in upon receiving an email. Although the pair weren't present when the other contestants arrived, they joined them for later activities.

However, the concept of paying up to £257 a night for a place where the host is unseen didn't sit well with the guests. By the end of the episode, Pam and Mya had read two feedback forms, both revealing they wouldn't return.

Commenting on their decision, Pam said: "Different folks for different strokes. It's not going to suit everybody. I'm tired of this nervous wrecking feeling!"

As she went through the final feedback from the guests, things started off strong as they scored nine out of 10 for 'How were your hosts'.

The form praised the duo's hosting as 'immaculate' and complimented their welcome pack, delighting the mother and daughter.

However, the praise quickly dwindled as they received scores of six and eight.

As Mya quizzed her mum on whether she believed the final duo would fancy a return visit, Pam appeared sceptical, remarking: "I'm going to give it a no. Because I'm tired of raising my hopes."

When the third and final guests disclosed their reluctance to rebook, Pam had a rather blunt comeback, saying: "Wow, we've got three no's, but it's these challenges that make me more hungry to thrive."

She then defiantly added: "You know what? They wouldn't be able to stay here anyway because we are fully booked."

The outcome of how much their guests valued their stay will be revealed on Payment Day. Even so, with one accommodation left to review, Pam and Mya might just clinch the title of the show.

Four in a Bed continues weeknights on Channel 4 from 6pm.
