On one particular episode, Bradley Walsh was left in stitches and escorted a contestant off the set following a quip on The Chase. The beloved ITV quiz show aired a celebrity special with a star-studded episode.

The celebrity lineup included Ruth Davidson, Ferne McCann, Dan Walker, and Mark King, all vying to outsmart the chaser for a hefty charity prize. Paul Sinha, known as The Sinnerman, was the brainy adversary they faced.

Scottish politician Ruth Davidson kicked things off by bagging £7,000 in her cash builder round. The 45 year old maintained her strong performance, sailing through the head-to-head and securing her place in the Final Chase, as reported by The Liverpool Echo.

But it wasn't all smooth sailing. During her final question, when asked: "How is forty written in Roman numerals? " she correctly answered XL.

Bradley quipped that it stood for 'extra large', which led to a playful rebuke from Ms Davidson, saying: "That's a bit rude".

In response, Bradley humorously marched her off the set, asserting: "I do the jokes on this show," leaving viewers in hysterics at the exchange.

Ferne and Mark later joined Ms Davidson in the ultimate showdown, where they amassed £12,000 for their chosen charities. They managed to put 16 steps between them and The Sinnerman, ensuring they walked away with the winnings for their causes.
