Alejandro Garnacho's brother provided a damning five-word verdict of Manchester United's 4-0 battering at the hands of Crystal Palace on Monday night. Erik ten Hag has already taken issue with the United winger's social media activity, but his sibling has free reign to aim fire at the club's performances.

Garnacho started for the 36th consecutive game at Selhurst Park and played 90 minutes, but not a single visiting player turned up.

Michael Olise - who could rival the 19-year-old for the right-wing starting berth next season - was rampant as he netted a brace in South London. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell added the other goals.

The result felt in the same vein as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 4-1 drubbing at Watford, Jose Mourinho's 3-1 loss at Liverpool and David Moyes' 2-0 defeat at Everton.

Ten Hag looks resigned to the sack this summer amid intense criticism of United's lack of a play style on top of poor performances and results.

And Garnacho's brother, Roberto, took to X (formerly Twitter) in the second half of Monday's embarrassment against Palace to ask the question: "What are we good at?"

Ten Hag has argued that his team are among the most entertaining and dynamic in the Premier League. But there was only one side that matched that description at Selhurst Park, and it wasn't United.

Garnacho's brother has a reputation for outspoken posts on social media, showing not much of a filter when offering his opinions.

But the United winger himself was embroiled in controversy on X not too long ago after the 2-2 draw against AFC Bournemouth last month.

Ten Hag hauled him off at half-time, and he later liked posts criticising the Dutchman for his treatment and post-match comments, which suggested that Garnacho wasn't doing his job.

The Red Devils boss later confirmed that the matter had been dealt with internally, and there is little risk of Garnacho's brother's social media activity leading to a similar issue.

Ten Hag has overseen the teenager's breakthrough from an academy hopeful to a first-team regular in his first two years in charge.

Garnacho's switch to the right wing sparked developments in his game, leapfrogging £86million signing Antony in the pecking order.

He is set to play a central role in Sir Jim Ratcliffe's rebuild project after signing a new long-term contract last year.

But a new name in the dugout this summer would surround plenty of players with uncertainty, Garnacho included.
