J1 beach, a new urban riviera concept that aims to transform a prime part of Dubai’s beachfront Jumeirah area into an elevated dining district, will open in September 2024.
The development, by Merex Investment, will feature 13 licensed fine dining concepts that all offer serene sea views, serving up flavours from across the world through international cuisine, with valet services available to drivers.
The list of restaurants includes the following:
1. African Queen: A fusion of French and African flavours.
2. Almayass by the Sea: A unique blend of Lebanese-Armenian fusion cuisine, straight from Beirut to Dubai.
3. B oli: Contemporary Japanese cuisine with new Asian twists.
4. Chouchou: Upscale French cuisine in an exclusive beach house member’s club environment.
5. Gigi Rigolatto: An Italian sanctuary featuring a lush garden and private pool.
6. Gitano: Modern Mexican cuisine served alongside mezcal cocktails.
7. Kaimana: An immersive Asian-Polynesian dining experience.
8. La Baia: Refined Italian cuisine inspired by the Amalfi coast.
9. Lúnico: A blend of Spanish-Mediterranean cuisine.
10. Mūn: A fantasy-like oriental beach-garden setting for Asian-inspired dishes.
11. Sakhalin: A fusion of local and Far Eastern products through Mediterranean and Asian recipes.
12. Sirene by Gaia: A Greek coastal experience with authentic Mediterranean flavours.
13. INÁ: A multi-sensory journey with African-inspired open fire cooking.
