AEW saw its cable demo rating slip for its first episode simulcast on Max, while the cable audience was up from the week before. Wednesday’s episode brought in a 0.16 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 588,000 viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers were down 11.1% and up 2.4% respectively from the previous week’s 0.18 demo rating and audience of 588,000.

It is important to note that Max viewing numbers are not included in these ratings, which are only the Nielsen ratings for the TBS airing. This will be the case going forward for AEW Dynamite and Collision ratings, as both shows will air on terrestrial TV and be simulcast on Max. WWE Raw ratings will not be reported in traditional Nielsen ratings going forward either as they will be airing on Netflix. It is unclear whether Netflix will report Raw viewing numbers in some capacity, whether as part of their weekly top 10 reports or in some other way.

The demo rating was the lowest since the November 27th episode had a 0.15, while the audience was, other than last week’s Christmas Eve number, the lowest since the December 4th episode scored 586,000 viewers.
