Triple H had several announcements at WWE Bad Blood tonight, which included some big matches for Crown Jewel in four weeks. First of all, the WWE CCO announced that Bad Blood had an attendance of 16,092. It is also the company’s 60th sellout this year and the largest grossing arena event ever.
But the big announcement came after that. Triple H announced that there would be champion vs. champion matches at Crown Jewel. This includes WWE Champion vs. World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Women’s World Champion vs. WWE Women’s Champion. However, the only title that will be on the line will be the brand new Crown Jewel Championship, an annual prize.
At this time, the matches will be GUNTHER vs. Cody Rhodes and Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan. As Morgan has a title defense later tonight and GUNTHER has one on Monday, that could change.
After his announcement, GUNTHER came out to interrupt. He acknowledged the legends at ringside and ran down Goldberg. Security stopped Goldberg from getting physical, however, Sami Zayn was able to come out and attack the World champion in the chaos.
