As previously reported, Odyssey Jones was removed from the WWE.com roster, leading to speculation about his status with the company. He was then not present at WWE’s RAW taping, although he had been involved in a story with the New Day. PWInsider reports that while his status has not been confirmed by WWE, Jones was removed from the internal roster and is believed to be gone from the company.
It was noted that his removal from the website was not a mistake, and the creative team was told to remove Jones from any future plans. No reason was given at the time. There have been rumors that Jones was arrested in Arkansas, but this doesn’t appear to be the case. PWInsider notes that someone with his real name (Omari Palmer) was arrested on August 24, but the age and mugshot don’t match. While there are other issues regarding “behavioral issues”, these haven’t been confirmed.
Talent also believe he’s gone from WWE but are unsure why.
