– During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry discussed Nigel McGuinness making his in-ring return last Sunday at AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium. Henry now wants to see McGuinness back in the ring and face his rival, Bryan Danielson. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Mark Henry on Nigel McGuinness returning to the ring: “If you don’t bring Nigel back as a wrestler, I’m gonna have a problem. He’s gotta wrestle now.”
On wanting to see McGuinness target Bryan Danielson to Christian Cage’s benefit: “I would have Nigel go to the #1 Contender and tell them ‘Hey, I don’t normally do this but I want to skip the line … Just know that when I get done with him, he’s gonna be damaged goods.'”
Bryan Danielson won the AEW World Title last Sunday at All In. Danielson is scheduled to address his title reign and wrestling future later tonight on AEW Dynamite. The show will air live on TBS starting at 8:00 pm EST.
