The BBC reports that fans in the UK are not happy with the high cost of tickets for WWE Clash at the Castle next month. The event takes place at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on June 15. Tickets range from £300 ($375) to over £2,000 ($2,502).

Several fans spoke with BBC Scotland and said they feel the prices will force them to miss the event. However, WWE stated that some tickets had been on sale for lower prices over two nights at the venue. Hundreds of seats are still on sale for a venue with a capacity of 14,300. Here are highlights of fan reactions:

Lewis McLean: “We don’t make all that much money and my dad, he’s quite ill so we’re not able to travel a lot. To be able to get one of these live events in Scotland is quite a big deal to us. We were planning on getting me, my dad and my cousin. Over all it would be £900 for us all to go an watch WWE with the worst possible seats. It’s just far too much.”

Journalist Ross Brady: “The first prices that went up were for combo tickets of around £330, so I waited for the event on the Saturday and it was £303.50 for just the single ticket. I’ll have to watch it on TV – save myself some money. I am a proper fan of this but I’ll need to miss the one that’s 20 minutes down the road because I’m just not paying extortionate prices.”

ICW founder Mark Dallas: “It’s fantastic that finally, WWE are bringing one of their big events to Glasgow – it’s long overdue. I think it’s a real shame that there’s not more affordable tickets towards the back of the venue at least.”
