In a piece on WWE President Nick Khan last week, Sports Illustrated reported that WWE, and Khan especially, were interested in collaborating with other wrestling companies. No specific company was named, as it said that Khan is looking “to engineer a collaboration with other professional wrestling promotions.” After not working with other promotions for decades, WWE has begun to do so, most notably with TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace showing up in the Royal Rumble.
In an interview with Comicbook.com, AEW CEO Tony Khan gave his thoughts on a possible collaboration with WWE if both sides were interested in doing so.
He said: ““It’s an interesting thought. It would depend on the circumstance.“
