During an appearance on Isiah Kassidy’s vlog (via Fightful), Ortiz revealed that he recently suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will be out around four months. He has surgery in two weeks. He noted that the injury happened on a routine clothesline. His last match was on the January 20th episode of Collision.
He said: “I’m injured. I’m injured. I’m about to get surgery in two weeks. It was just from a clothesline. I tore a pec. I tore my pec from a clothesline. It’s because I’m too jacked. I’m so jacked my tendons couldn’t keep up. Two weeks and four months recovery time, and I’ll be back.”
