– During a recent edition of Tuesday with The Taskmaster, former WCW wrestler and booker Kevin Sullivan discussed handling Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, which he has until July to use. Sullivan thinks Priest should use the briefcase to cash in for the Intercontinental Title against Rey Mysterio. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Kevin Sullivan on Damian Priest: “I think he’s very talented. Focusing on The Bloodline and Cody, you’d have to have a great idea for long-range to bring Damian into this.”
Sullivan on how he’d have Priest cash in his briefcase against Dominik Mysterio: “I like the idea against Dominik because Dominik has got a lot of heat, he could turn, he could turn back, he’s got a future that’s going to be unparalleled. It would boost them, and its high tide raises all boats. If you get them in you’re just heating up another program. They’ve made people in The Bloodline. You’re not overexposing The Bloodline on every other segment.”
Priest’s briefcase can hypothetically be used to cash in for a World Heavyweight Title or Universal Title shot whenever he wants. He will be in action at WrestleMania 40 next month, defending the Undisputed Tag Team Titles with Finn Balor against five other tag teams. The event is scheduled for April 6-7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. It will be broadcast live on Peacock.
