Cameron Norrie has been eliminated from Wimbledon in the third round after a straight-sets defeat to Alexander Zverev.
The pair engaged in an 32-point tiebreak in the final set but ultimately Zverev took the match 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (15).
Zverev took the first set 6-4, displaying powerful serves that Norrie was unable to break, accumulating 15 aces throughout the game.
Norrie's Wimbledon campaign lasted longer than any of his fellow Brits in the men's singles tournament.
Most notably, British No. 1 Jack Draper was beaten by Norrie in the second round.
Zverev advances into the round-of-16, one step closer to clinching his first Grand Slam title. The German 27-year-old lost in the final of the French Open in June.
Meanwhile, fellow British No. 2 Harriet Dart continues her Wimbledon journey against Wang Xinyu on Court No. 2.
