SAN FRANCISCO -- Golden State Warriors power forward Jonathan Kuminga suffered a sprained right ankle and was ruled out for the second half of Saturday night's 121-113 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Kuminga landed awkwardly on his right foot in the paint and appeared to roll his right ankle before falling to the floor. He left the game right after that with 2:27 left in the second quarter. Kuminga finished with 13 points and went 3-of-3 from behind the arc.

Kuminga's injury comes as the forward is playing his best basketball of the season. He scored 20 or more points in three of his previous four games, a stretch that included scoring a career-high 34 points in consecutive games.

Kuminga's status is uncertain for Sunday's home game, the second of a back-to-back, against the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors are already without Brandin Podziemski (abdominal tightness) and Gary Payton II (calf).

Stephen Curry (bilateral knee injury management) also sat Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.
