Liverpool's clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon is under threat of being postponed.
Snowfall covered Anfield and its surrounding areas overnight, with talk the Premier League fixture could be called off because of the conditions.
It's reported there aren't any concerns around the state of the pitch, rather the safety of fans travelling to and from the match.

Liverpool issue statement on Man Utd fixture
Liverpool have taken to social media to issue a statement about today's clash with Manchester United.
The Merseyside outfit said: "A safety meeting was held this morning to assess the weather and travel conditions for today’s fixture against Manchester United at Anfield.
"At this stage the match is planned to go ahead as normal and every effort is being made to get the game on.
"A further safety meeting will take place again at midday to assess the latest conditions.
"We will update supporters just as soon as we can. Please take extra care out there, Reds."
Liverpool vs Man Utd going ahead... for now
Liverpool vs Manchester United is planning to go ahead as things stand, the Merseyside outfit have confirmed.
Chesterfield's match vs Gillingham called off
While we wait for news on Liverpool vs Manchester United, it's worth pointing out that one match has already fallen victim to the conditions today.
About 100 miles separate Chesterfield and Liverpool, but the snowy conditions have meant the Spireites' clash with Gillingham isn't going ahead.

New meeting scheduled for 11:45am
A new meeting between the safety group will now take place at 11:45am instead.
It's expected a decision on the match won't be taken until then.
Liverpool City Council\u2019s Ground Safety Asvisory Group is reconvening at midday to discuss whether Liverpool and Man Utd can go ahead given that weather conditions may be changing. They had met at 9am.

Travel disruption could lead to postponement
Uh oh, could this be the reason the match is called off?
National Rail have posted on social media that no Avanti West Coast trains will be heading into Liverpool Lime Street until approximately midday, around four hours before kick-off.

Meeting planned for 9am
A meeting with the relevant authorities was pencilled in for 9am, as a decision on whether the match will go ahead edges closer.
