Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may already be at his wit's end with Marcus Rashford according to Troy Deeney, who has given a scathing verdict on the Red Devils' homegrown winger.
Despite netting twice in a thumping 4-0 triumph over Everton, Rashford has struggled to make his mark this season, managing a four Premier League goals and being benched for the recent clashes against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
Reports are rife that United might sell him given his lacklustre form for the past year and a half. And Deeney, in his column for The Sun, didn't hold back, saying: "Marcus Rashford looks like he is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Everything is always everybody else's fault and his application stinks.
"He is still capable of moments [though]. It wouldn't surprise me if he goes and scores the winner against Manchester City this weekend and then goes missing for the next few weeks.

"We saw it on Thursday night, subbed off against Viktoria Plzen and already United boss Ruben Amorim looks fed up with him."
The pundit continued: "Look, I've been there. It's not nice when that is happening. As a striker you want to be left on to build some momentum, but I was at the Emirates when he came on against Arsenal last week. He was a disgrace.
"Amorim summed it up best when he joined, telling Rashford he will get full support but it is up to him as a player, a person.
"That's where the problem lies. Nobody wants Rashford to fail, but if he keeps delivering these substandard performances then we will all keep on saying the same things."
Rashford has been criticised for his actions off the pitch too, with Neville labelling the player's decision to fly to America during a recent international break "unprofessional".
Rashford's struggles on the pitch resulted in him missing a spot in England's Euro 2024 squad earlier this year, despite a prolific 30-goal tally in the 2022-23 season.
