Cristiano Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez, has opened up about her recent health scare that landed her in the hospital.
The 30-year-old model expressed her gratitude to the medical team after a four-day stint in the hospital for pneumonia treatment. This health issue arose shortly after she and the football superstar were spotted soaking up the sun on a lavish getaway in Saint-Tropez, sparking whispers of a secret wedding.
Georgina took to Instagram to update her followers, writing: "Finally back home! I spent 4 days at the hospital with pneumonia, I'm better now but still recovering at home with my family. I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff members, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital... They took care of me so wonderfully and I'm very grateful for that. Thank you all for such a great stay."
She also confirmed her location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by posting a picture from the Saudi German Hospital, showcasing her IV drip.
As Georgina recuperated in the top-rated Dubai hospital, Ronaldo played two matches for his club, Al-Nassr.

Georgina reminisced about their first encounter in an interview with Italy's Elle magazine, revealing: "The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci where I worked as a sales assistant. Days later we saw each other again at another brand's event. It was then we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment. It was love at first sight for both."
Georgina accompanied Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia after he decided to conclude his European stint by signing a lucrative agreement with Al-Nassr, marking the Saudi Pro League's most high-profile signing. Ronaldo has previously expressed his desire to expand his family to seven children, reflecting the famous shirt number he has donned throughout his illustrious career.
Discussing family matters in an interview back in July 2017, when he was a father of three and had been with Georgina for approximately a year, Spanish media quoted him: "My eldest Cristianinho is very happy.
