Manchester United completed their third and fourth signings of the window on Tuesday, with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui both penning long-term contracts at the Theatre of Dreams.

The defensive duo were identified as top targets by the Red Devils this summer and negotiations with Bayern Munich finally bore fruit last week when two respective agreements were reached.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s spending spree is not expected to stop there though. United remain in the market for reinforcements in midfield, with the acquisition of another striker and another defender not to be ruled out.

Adidas release stellar kit promotion

Adidas have published their promotional video for United's kits next season, and the footage has already gone down a storm with supporters...

United target 'insisting' he wants to join club

Manuel Ugarte is reportedly insisting that he wants to join Manchester United in transfer talks.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Uruguay international is keen to join the Red Devils this summer, with his agent Jorge Mendes leading talks with PSG to attempt to push for a deal to be agreed.

The Ligue 1 outfit are open to the sale of the midfielder but would need to reduce their asking price if they are to strike an agreement with United. The Red Devils are weighing up the sale of another player to fund a bid.

Man Utd reject three Bruno Fernandes approaches

Manchester United have reportedly rejected three separate approaches for Bruno Fernandes this summer.

The skipper is expected to sign a contract extension with the Red Devils imminently, though he has not been short of suitors over the past few months.

HITC report that Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich both attempted to open talks with United over Fernandes. A Saudi Pro League side also registered an interest in acquiring his services.

The Red Devils remained firm on their stance that Fernandes was not for sale though and a three-year deal is now in place for the Portugal international to sign.

Jadon Sancho swap deal opportunity arises

Manchester United may have stumbled across an ideal swap deal opportunity.

The Old Trafford outfit remain locked in negotiations with PSG for Manuel Ugarte, but his price tag is proving to be a major sticking point in talks.

However, Jadon Sancho’s desire to join the Ligue 1 outfit could resolve the situation.

According to Foot Mercato, the England international is keen to join PSG and verbal talks have taken place about the salary he would earn at the Parc des Princes.

With United keen on Ugarte, Sancho could be the ideal makeweight in negotiations to bring down PSG’s asking price.

Ivan Toney loan offer considered

Manchester United are considering a loan move for Brentford forward Ivan Toney, reports The Independent.

The Red Devils remain in the market for attacking reinforcements and have shortlisted the England international as an option, but his £60million valuation is proving a major deterrence at this stage.

Toney has just 12 months left on his contract with Brentford, which has led United – and Chelsea – to weigh up whether there is an alternative way to acquire his services.

Erik ten Hag’s side are considering testing the waters by tabling a loan-to-buy offer for Toney, though it is unclear whether the Bees would accept such a proposition.

Luke Shaw suffers fresh injury blow

Luke Shaw will miss the opening weeks of the Premier League campaign after suffering a fresh injury blow, according to The Athletic.

Shaw will reportedly be sidelined until the September international break after suffering a calf injury in a training session.

The Red Devils have been scouring the market for left-sided defenders to provide for Shaw in both the short and long-term, with several options already under consideration at Old Trafford.
